Bak Kut Teh Dinner at Section 16 (RESTORAN CHUAN)

Today, Sunday, it has been raining the whole day and for dinner we felt like having some comfort food with soupy goodness to stave off the wetness and damp of a dismal day: BAK KUT TEH!!!!

Son who now knew PJ very well after working there early this year, took us to Section 16 near Subang.
We settled for CHUAN
at a table right outside the shop (it has two ends! you could the from the front right through to the back of the shop )

Where am I? At the intersection of Subang Utama and Jalan SS14

You will be spoilt for choice: shops and shops of bak kut teh, Klang Bak Teh and dry bak kut teh

this is the road
We chose this shop because we could see all the bak kut outsideThe "chef" prepared the soup right before our eyesfuchok
clay pot ribs and boneless meat
but hold the intestines and other innards! we don't take intestines!
You can see the other end of the shop, I think we were at the back!
sang choy
yam rice, we also had yau char kwai (chinese crullers)
here comes our nourishing soup
steaming hot clay pot soup chockful of ribs and meat!

They replenished the soup when it runs low! at least 3 times.

All this for less than RM50 for a family of 4!!!

My Farewell 29 January 2011

Today is my old school cross country event, and this is my old class, with form teacher (in brown T). I taught them MUET last year and a week of this year.

The cross country ended very early at 10.30, I was to meet the teachers at 12 noon.

Individual bowls of Buddha Jumps Over the Wall
