Flying Hen

When I went to my uninhabited house,

what did I see?

A hen!

She enjoyed her 'me' time!

Enjoying a romp round the spacious garden!

On seeing me, she panicked and dived for cover!

THEN WHEN CORNERED ....

SHE FLEW!

I was speechless!

Now she is on the roof.

She goes back to her own roost,

after a brief sojourn at my house.

Apparently she comes here

Everyday

To relax

And have the run of the house

ALONE!!!
