House (Renovated) Warming

Sylvia, our line dancing friend's terrace 

house in an established neighbourhood

underwent a massive makeover

 to accommodate her sons and their

families.

 Festooned with streamers and balloons

 with the caterers' tent and furniture

 our party arriving, 

Janet and her grandson, Kelly, Mrs Choy and Irene

 her grandsons' IT corner

 tempered glass dividers and marbled floors with added attics and floors

we are given a conducted tour of all the floors

 conversation piece and unique feature of this house: a stringed lamp or lamps that hung from the ceiling to the floors below

 our pressie for her: Murano vase that doubles as a table lamp: if you hang a light bulb "holes" at the neck and mouth will catch the reflection and throw a spray of dancing twinkling lights on the wall like disco strobe lights!

 Kelly bought this lamp/vase  from Ricardo at Viva Home

 and she chose this spot to display the vase: token of our friendship: "DON"T REMOVE!!!"
