High street fashion giant H&M has chosen Laetitia Casta to front its new lingerie campaign

Born in Pont-Audemer, France, Laetitia Casta spent her childhood in the lush countryside of Normandy. At age 15, she was approached by an agent of Paris' Madison Models while building sand castles on a beach in Corsica.

Laetitia (which means 'joy' in Latin) enjoyed drawing and writing stories at an early age, and admits that she was quite a daydreamer in grade school.

In 1996, Laetitia became one of the lead models of Victoria's Secret and from there was featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition for three consecutive years.

 She has appeared on over 100 covers of fashion magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Glamour, as well as doing commercials for the cosmetics company L'Oreal.

 She has a daughter, with then-boyfriend, fashion photographer Stephane Sednaoui; Sahteene Sednaoui.
She has 2 more children with Stefano. A son named Orlando and a daughter named Athena.

 Laetitia made her feature film debut in 'Asterix and Obelix vs.Caeser' (1999), the most expensive French film ever made and a smash hit in Europe. Her acting career gained momentum when she starred in the TV movie 'The Blue Bicycle' (2000), set in WWII France.

 Is the current 'Marianne'. In France there is a tradition that in every town hall is the bust of the most beautiful woman in a decade. Marianne is the symbol of liberty and republic in France and since January 2000 that role is on Laetitia for the next ten years.

She has a brown belt in judo and enjoys driving go-carts, painting, writing, rollerblading, going to the cinema, and dancing in her spare time.

After devoting time to her acting career, Casta is now back in touch with the world of fashion and beauty. As well as being the face of the new Dolce & Gabbana fragrance, she puts her perfect shape to use to present a holiday collection by H&M.
The world class model has not lost her curves, looking sensual in the new glitter chic pieces.
The special collection includes heart-shaped push-up bras with sequins and crystals, shorties and lace panties.
