Tanjung Tualang Udang Galah

Have you heard of Tanjung Tualang????

It has been listed in brochures as THE place for freshwater prawns and seafood

This is Kuan...she is an Ipoh girl

She took us to Tanjung Tualang for a seafood lunch

TT is a very small town but full of restaurants at every which way you turn.

The one that was recommended was not open so we chose Lung Seng.

 Wow!!!! an elaborate spread for 6 kids and four adults

 belachan tau miu

 steamed, then fried mantous

 oats prawns

 chili crabs

 steamed udang galah

the specialty of Tanjung Tualang!

What we drove all the way from Kuala Lumpur for!!!

 fish, steamed and fresh!

kids were not so interested in eating...

so the adults fisnished all the crabs and prawns!!

all clean!!!
