If you see cranes ahead, stop, don't drive though...

To think that I drove on this road last Sunday to get to 

Sungai Buloh "Kiwanis Charity DAnce" : Jalan Subang 

towards Sultan Salehuddin Airport.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 — A male driver and his female passenger were nearly killed when several steel rods at a LRT construction site in Jalan  Lapangan Terbang Subang towards federal highway fell onto a car this morning.

don't ever drive past if you see cranes, forklifts, etc atop 

airlifting some equipment...



 they might crash into you, impale you, cut your car into half, and might even drive you into the ground until your body cannot be found....

don't suffer the consequences....


In the incident at 9am today, the rods fell from a crane which was lifting them and hit the victims' car, a Honda Civic.Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, ACP Azmi Abu Kassim said initial investigations found the steel rods from pillar 88 of the LRT project fell and hit the victims' car.
 “After the Honda Civic was hit, a Nissan Vanette rammed the car from behind. The van's driver was not injured.
Both the victims who were injured were sent to Sime Darby Medical Centre for treatment,” he said when contacted, here today.
Meanwhile, chairman of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the contractor for the LRT project has to be accountable for the incident.
 “The time has come for the LRT transport operators to pay more attention to the attitude of their contractors and for the contractors to ensure proper supervision of all their work sites,” he said in a statement here today.
Meanwhile the contractor responsible for the package A of the Kelana Jaya LRT extension project, Trans Resources Corporation (TRC) Sdn Bhd, said they would monitor and enhance their safety procedures at construction sites.
