Legoland

These are my combo (wet and dry park)  tickets to Legoland and they cost around RM159 each. At the ticketing counter I learnt a couple with a young child would have to pay RM557!!! No refunds and no rain checks in the event of bad weather too !

I scored my tix by hash tagging my Instagram picture at the Star Wow Events at the Wonen’s Fiesta below and was rewarded though I was not really interested in Legoland as it was more a kiddie attraction.

However as I had no more small children and my grand kids are still in the making, we decided to go anyway to check it out as people overseas like Philippines and Taiwan are bringing their kids there.

It has a water theme park

The water park offers a giant water slide, the LEGO Slide Racers and the Dino island attraction where visitors get drenched on an exhilarating log boat ride!

Lots of thrilling rides (LEGO themed ) such as the great LEGO race : the worlds first LEGO virtual reality roller coaster that offers an adventure in s bricktastic world.

Even a Legoland Hotel..in your room solve puzzles to discover a secret code that unlocks a treasure chest filled with LEGO goodies.

It is situated in Nusajaya Jalan Medini, near Forest City.(7, Jalan Legoland, Medini, 79250 Nusajaya Johor, Malaysia)

There’s also a LEGO Miniland dedicated to famous Asian landmarks, built with over 30 million LEGO bricks (legoland.com.my)

 Castle, Thrones and adventure land.

Star Wars expo

Mind games to tease your brain

Lots of bricks for me to relive my children’s childhood ( my childhood did not include LEGO)

This how big Legoland is... you can spend a whole day here to make full use of your expensive tickets!

Ticketing counters that caters for a huge crowd capacity

However it’s puasa or fasting period so the queue and crowd is not there

Long walk for me to the entrance ..I’m lagging behind!

We arrived at 9.40 to find no one at the car park to facilitate visitors and no help available as to the amenities available and we wasted precious minutes till past opening time which was 10.00 am.

By the time we got in it was 10.20, and my husband  nearly lost his temper with the staff because sun  was blazing and we had to get back to check out of Hilton JB at noon.
By the way, there is no one to hand you a parking ticket , after parking you pay rm10 to get a ticket to exit car park.

So, legoland being the first LEGO themed resort in Asia and a unique resort of international standard, these small issues should be addressed.
