Yesterday I went to my favourite shop to photostat my English syllabus and look what I saw:
The bullied girl made the front page of at least FOUR Chinese dailies.

The three-minute video has drawn over 1,000 comments with expressions of anger over the incident.
In the video, an unidentified female student was seen violently pulling and cutting off the victim's hair.
The victim was also hit with books on the head and strangled with a tie. She cried and pleaded repeatedly for the assault to stop, but her other classmates ignored her pleas and jeered her in the background.
The video was uploaded at around 3.30pm yesterday.
Shocking act: A photo grab of the video taken yesterday showing the victim being humiliated by a classmate. “Poor victim! I hope she will recover from this trauma and those behind the incident will be duly disciplined,” another wrote.
Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong confirmed that the victim was from SMK Raja Abdullah in Kepong and had instructed education authorities to get to the bottom of the incident.
Dr Wee said although the incident was an isolated case, it would be taken seriously.
“We do not condone bullying in schools.”
Describing the scenes in the video as shocking, Dr Wee said the bullies would have to face the music as it was an unacceptable act.
“I will inform the Selangor state education department to conduct a thorough investigation on the matter to find out why and how it happened and who the culprits are,” he added.
When asked what action could be taken against the bullies, Dr Wee said it all depended on the severity of the case after the investigations were completed.
