CNY is.......First Day of Chinese New Year 23 January 2012

First day of Chinese New Year is visiting relatives day.

 First, we needed to have a nourishing breakfast of longan sweet drink offered as prayers the night before.

 Everybody gathered at my house first before the convoy left for our visiting rounds.

 First house: 5th Aunt

 Fifth Aunt's nephew, Kiat's cousin.

 then we always pray at this temple

 And EVERY YEAR we take photo at this lion statue (since my little girl was well, a little girl!)

 2nd house visit: 3rd Uncle

 3rd Uncle's wife is the one in red.

AT noon, we go home first for porridge and vegetarian lunch!

 3rd house: Aunt Kee's house.

She is the one in red traditional costume

4th house: a condo to visit First Aunt

 First Aunt is frail and wheel chair bound (centre)

 At night, we gather again for dinner

 Home cooked by the maids

 After dinner chatime

HAPPY DRAGON YEAR!!!!
 The next day we went to my hometown!
