They made the disastrous sales sound so nice...

Do you remember my post on the BEAT THE HEAT closed door sales (Robinsons) where the queue was too long for us to get in, and when we got in, the goodie bags that were promised were all gone, and where the "canapes" were not enough for grabbing hands, and where people had to wait around the table for the caterer to bring out one plate by one plate????? And where shopaholic me and my daughter bought NOTHING?????

Well, yesterday in Star Metro they had a write up on it and they painted such a glowing picture of it:

"Special closed-door sale

ROBINSONS Cardmembers and DiGi subscribers enjoyed an exceptional, fresh and fun rewarding shopping experience at a recent closed-door event held exclusively for them.
In conjunction with the Robinsons “Beat The Heat” Mega Sale campaign, Robinsons and DiGi had collaborated in organising the event to reward their loyal customers with additional discounts and privileges at the Robinsons High-Summer 2009 collection.
Invited guests were showered with goodies on entering the store and treated to canapés and free flow of drinks to begin their shopping excursion.
Yeah, that’s it!: Shopper Nigel having fun with the DiGi Yellow Coverage Fellow.
Robinsons and DiGi had also lined up a host of enlivening activities, including lucky draw, games, cooking demonstration, live music and a DJ to jazz up the event.
One of the highlights was the appearance of the DiGi Yellow Coverage Fellows, who entertained the guests with their humorous gimmicks. Guests were seen taking photos with them.
The excitement continued with 10 lucky Robinsons Cardmembers walking away with Robinsons Cash Vouchers worth RM150 each via a lucky draw."
