China Relatives

Late Grandmother has brother in China who came to KL for a visit with  his wife, son and grand daughter( I have not found out their names yet!). Tai Koo couldn't find their Bukit Bintang hotel (Allson Genesis) so she asked them to get a taxi to Midah and guess how much the taxi fare was? RM62 FROM BUKIT BINTANG TO TAMAN MIDAH!!!!

grand daughter (12 when Mamma died) now 22 (born in 1988)

Her father (aged 53, born 1957) with Tai Koo in the foreground. Tai Koo is "made in China" but spent all her years in Malaysia.  He was going on about how fresh the fish was in China and not to be outdone, she was trying to tell him about fishes in Malaysia, but forgot all their chinese names, can only say malay names: kurau, kembong.....Ha ha ha !!!! Tai Koo so Malaysianised!

Straightaway she peeled them and cooked them and made kong kong eat them!!!

She even packed her own peeler! (to peel the tapioca). It looks like a planer.

It is homemade, and she is taking it back!

Lunch: chap fan from Midah

Dinner: at Loong Yee, to avoid the traffic congestion caused by the pasar malam!!!

Their new rooms....better than hotel??? More about China Cousins soon....
