BBQ by the Sea 2 June 2011

Join us for a BBQ dinner by the sea!

the rates are quite reasonable by KL standards and it helps if you are a senior citizen (like us!) or a child (like her!).

the staples like mee hoon, fried rice, potato wedges and vegetables are ready in the chafing dishes
steaming, fluffy aromatic fried rice garnished with cherry tomatoes
fresh pick of seafood on ice on a miniature sampan ready to be barbecued
I pick the crabs, the squids, the fish, the prawns, the mussels, the frankfurters......all lah....
looks yummy already
on the hot grill!
marinated meats like chicken wings, thighs, beef, mutton, lamb.......
my selection!

he sweats it out for us!
a variety of sauces: barbecue sauce, black pepper gravy, mushroom sauce, local chillie sauce.....
no rush, no queue, so unhurried, so leisurely.
contemplating what buns to choose to go with the mushroom soup

to satisfy your sweet tooth

a pity it was a mid-week night and the place was not well patronised
later in the evening, only a few other families joined us, maybe because there are so many other eateries at the resort
after dinner, we lounged around at the surrounds to soak up the resort atmosphere
then we walked back through the swimming pool landscaped gardens
in the room we went "onL9" but there was
NO INTERNET CONNECTION!!!!!!!
