Lunch at Pantai Remis

Since there was no hawker stalls or food restaurants around the resort that we stayed, we turned adventurous and went out to Pantai Remis for a spin, as advised by my daughter's friend mum, Felicia.

Pantai Remis as shown on the map is a scenic and rustic drive out from Lumut.
Feeling hungry, we stopped at this stall: "One Ringgit" ....so cheap!  Best prawn fritters and pisang goreng!

The accompanying sauce of chili cicah and satay sauce was out of this world too!
Then we reached this town!
And had this concoction!!!
Very nice! A piece of crunchy cracker, mee, rojak and mee rebus like gravy......lime for tangy taste
nice cute, coffee shop!
if you can read Chinese, you will know what mee this is called!!!! (Indian Mee)
The Indian Mee and chee cheong fan
I had this excellent otak otak with a chunk of fish inside

see the fish inside?
Yumm!!! I love otak otak in any form
After lunch, we browsed around the shops!
View of the restaurant where we had Indian Mee
older part of town
That's Pantai Remis for you: untouched and unspoilt.

The blue sky behind the zink roof wooden shops make it look quite nice!
