Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan

Leaning tower of Teluk Intan....enroute to Pulau Pangkor, we made a stop at Teluk Intan for the sake of the little girl (to help in her Kajian Tempatan or Georgraphy class) and Ivan and Millie.....

This is the leaning tower of Teluk Intan

It is very old...circa 1920 and originally built to store water strorage tanks
You can climb up to 3 storeys
Teluk Intan used to be known as Teluk Anson during the colonial days
Menara Condong or Leaning tower

Fantastic architecture

curving balustrade
view of food stalls from tower
pulleys for the clock

Had our lunch...food ala kampung
Having this lunch made us miss the 1.30 ferry, and now we had time to kill until the 3.45 ferry to Pangkor Island Resort.........
