Papa wanted to install ventilating fans to suck out the hot air in the rooms.
During the day the rooms get heated up from morning up to evening and by nightfall, the room has absorbed all the heat from the day's scorcher and is uncomfortably humid and warm, it dissipates only at 2 or 3 in the morning.
So these air suckers with timer will effectively expell hot air through the roof, rendering the room cooler and the air conditioning working more efectively.
To reach the ceiling, a long, long ladder is needed.
He has already put the ventilators in place. Now he need to cover it up with netting.
