Fullerton Square and Waterfront

Using WAZE and switiching on my data roaming,
we got to Fullerton Square on ample time

Waze to the rescue...when Garmin broke down

since we have not been to this part of Singapore before,
we took a stroll along the Square and played tourists

 Fullerton Hotel at Fullerton square
cutting  through here to get to the waterfront

nice or not? like the Rocks at Sydney Harbour!
Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay at the opposite side
picture without flash
 picture with forced flash
 Singapore skyline is forever changing
 now these are iconic figures
where junks used to silhouette against the harbour

old icons
weather was also pleasant as it early evening, but not with the cooler clime of other countries

so nice, so unhurried, so slow paced, we are both enjoying the autumn of our lives... playing tourist in a neighbouring country
a prelude to my retirement, henceforth the both of us would have lots of time for promenade like this

lots of tourists and locals milling around

making our way to the cocktail venue

Fullerton Hotel has a series of photos showing its heyday as a Post Office
now converted into a posh hotel in downtown metropolis

I have reached the wedding venue
in time for my cocktail
CYA!!
