他透露，死者與妻子從觀音廟出來后走向停車場，途中遭1名華裔槍手開槍亂射，死者胸口及左腹要害中槍，倒地身亡，其妻子左手及右腿中槍受傷。
“嫌犯疑在死者進入觀音廟后開始埋伏，隨后向死傷者開槍，並在廟宇外2名同黨接應下，乘上德士離開現場。”
據了解，現場閉路電視並無拍攝清楚嫌犯面貌，警方目前僅得悉嫌犯年齡介于35歲至40歲。
警方目前援引刑事法典第302（謀殺）條文及刑事法典307（企圖謀殺）條文調查，並呼籲目擊者現身向警方提供情報。

也是銀行家的死者兒子帕斯卡（45歲），目前正在俄羅斯首都莫斯科協助父親處理當地的銀行業務。
他今晚透過越洋電訪時指，他已從警方口中獲悉父親逝世的惡耗，其他家人知道后也感到震驚，並透露父親在馬定居多年，一向熱愛大馬。
