Since we are married daughters, we let our brother do all the praying. We Hakkas believe that if daughters do Qing Ming, their brothers will become bankrupt. We do not want our only bother to have such a fate!!!
We only stand and look.

The law is that married daughters cannot go to visit ancestors graves. MIL said this will deplete the good feng shui of the family Unmarried daughters are fine.
my brother, his wife and unmarried grand daughter "A married woman cannot pray to her own ancestors during Qing Ming though she may do so at the altar of her family home."
Me and my 2 sisters. Can you believe we are all in our 50's? Do we still look good?
