Buka Puasa at Dorsett Putrajaya

I gathered my Convent Peel Road colleagues for a buka puasa makan at Dorsett Putrajaya, (7 June 2017) as my firend's husband is the MD there, so why not!! In fact he gave us good deals!!

so join me as I bring you on our excellent ride at Dorsett! Btw, I love my mini pink caftan that I had just bought from Aileen's (my new KLSC co-graduate) friend at Bangsar Shopping Centre and my cute cross-body pink Victoria Secret bag.
Dining at this hotel gives you breathtaking sunset views of the open car park (free) and the spectacular sight of  the sun's last rays on the horizon of the city, as you help yourself to the asam pedas fish head and chicken curry.

Leaving Bukit Jalil at 5.45 and reaching Putrajaya at 6.30 (not exact time) I thought I was early, but so was Angie, Chen and her daughter!
Chen and her princess had time to take photos at the yellow princess chairs that I see a lot on Instagram!
We wasted no time in taking wefies at the photowall
the banner, after paying for our tickets. (buffet tickets lah, at half price)

The rest of our group has arrived and Paulsen greeted us personally, he was the one who gave us all "senior citizen" rates because some of us are still young, lol!!!
It's not time for breaking fast yet, so we inspected the food.
Thumbs up from Lydia!
The other side of the balcony where the buffect spread extended to!

so much food!!! we had walked the whole length and breadth of the place!
The fruit section at the corridor.

The best corridor/balcony corner had baskets of durians and a durian tree!

Grabbing durians and forcing the busy chefs to take our photos, we couldn't wait to eat durains!
Some fruits were already open, so I swiped a plateful and stuffed my face with it!

At the other side of the durian stalls was the shell-out bbq section and a deer on the pit.

Unlike other hotels that offer the usual lamb, Dorsett Putrajaya had a whole deer.
   Other food: kway teow goreng

lemang in all its varieties

We are all ready to eat!
We are not going to wait for the designated breaking fast time.

We started with durians again!
wow!!! digging in!  The first of our many plates of durian!
Later, there was to be a long queue for durians!
We have finished!!! Look at our shiny faces, happy satisfied look, as we take a pic at the lift as there was a photo booth with props!
Verdict for buka puasa juadah here: widest array of both local and foreign ( Japanese sushi, Italian pizzas, pastas etc) food, instore chef, sheer allocation of space (corridor, baclony, rooms) for display of food, and yes, the roast deer and the durians was reason enough for the trip there!
