Well, I received my trial package in the mail recently and I was eager to give it a try. I had been in the sun lately due to my travels to hot countries especially Guilin in summer and my recent trip to Ko Samui, an island paradise. Coming home was no better, I had a Sekinchan padi field trip and a  heritage walking tour in Alor Star and my skin had a fair exposure to the blazing sun!!!

 See my skin? this is a "before" picture.  It is dark, tanned, and pigmented from undue and prolonged exposure to the sun and going out unprotected by moisturiser and sunblock.My neck also has fine lines, and I will also be smothering it with Neesya essence too for better results.

TMy FIR Wellness and Fir Sauna Review 

I experienced FIR (Far Infrared Sauna) and here is my review.

 Well, with that information, I still did not know what FIR is all about, then Mary led me to this cabin, there are three and I will be trying out the one below:

 When you open it, there is a bench with white padded towelling and another towel for you to use, wooden flooring, walls, and benches. Rather like a conventional sauna except that you will not be enveloped with hot steam, but infra red rays.  "But we are staying in an equatorial country, we get the sun all year round.  Surely I do not need to be exposed to extra infrared rays?" I looked incredulously at Mary.  She allayed my doubts and proceeded to prepare the cabin for me.

 While she was busy, I busied myself too, taking shots of myself in front of the cabin.

 Soon I had to strip and get inside.  Here comes the acid test, will I be burned? Will I turn dark and tanned? I had a cough and cold with running nose coming on, would I be able to undergo the sauna?

 

 Took a selfie of myself in the cabin fully dressed, all neat with hair in place and fresh with no perspiration yet.

Okay now I am ready and looking real apprehensive

 I drank nearly all the water provided to replenish my fluids lost!!

It is now 47!! 

 48!! I waited for 49 with bated breath, would I be burnt to a crisp?

 WOW!!! It has reached 49 degrees!!! Gosh!! that will be heatwave material in KL and definitely Melbourne!

 EH? I could still manage a smile, it was not all that bad, and my fears were unfounded because I thought I would have passed out with a heat stroke or something. Now I look dishevelled and my hair is all messy!

 Look at my sweat! Beads of perspiration just ran down like rivulets of water down my brow and face!!
