Shakura Facial

I had forgotten I had enquired about Shakura facials until Adaline called me to fix an appointment.

I had some sun exposure from my Balkans trip so well, why not? I needed a whitening pampering facial ! 

This is the outlet in Paradigm Mall. I found that the Slimming Sanctuary that I went to next door has moved.. renovations were going on for DAISO, omg.

So here am I... peeled of my eye pad to sneak a snap!!!  Verdict: facial was relaxing, with extraction, lots of masks, and a had shoulder and upper chest massage thrown in... all these for only RM28. 


At the end of it Adaline gave me these freebies to take home. Of course they will give a hard sell and ask you to sign up for a package but I resisted, in the end she promised to remove my freckles, age spots and even my oil seeds under my eyes for 3 sessions’ deal...will update you, ya ..once I achieved my flawless complexion.

So far, I have been there 3 times...7 sessions more to go...

 I was asked to wait first before they got my room ready

 had to strip off and put on a paper g string, chest holder (hahaha..that's what I call it) and watch? electronic device to lock/unlock locker

 then I put on their robe....hope they washed it....

 you gotta believe it, 10m sessions for RM140, even if it does not work, I enjoyed the massage...

 electronic pads to be put on parts and bits of my body before being hooked onto a machine and tingling sensations course through the targeted parts...sounds like a torture machine? hehehe

 look at the "torture machine" a contraption that will send dubious unbelievers running

 I concentrated on this lamp while subjecting my subcutaneous fats to the machine

 after....hmmmm....I need 100 sessions, not 10!!! hahaha!!!!

Bye........like I said... I have 7 more sessions......

oh yes, I forgot to tell you, after the machine, they wrapped me up in cling wrap

 (yes, the type you use to cling wrap left overs) 

and yes, I felt like a giant left over......

next time I get the girl to take my wrapped up pic so you can see for yourself, 

or maybe not, 

 because I am in g string and chest-holder...remember?

Recuperate with a Facial at Estee Lauder, KLCC

After all that weddings and running around, I need a facial to recuperate and bring the glow back in my sallow complexion. Lately, I have been going to Estee Lauder at Parkson KLCC.

So neatly folded and laid out I felt pampered already.

This cabin is only behind their counter and I marvel at how they can even fit in a sink.

Unlike Clarins which only deploys the use of the beautician's hands, Estee Lauder still relied on machines. After cleansing and massaging my face (heaven) she blew steam laced with chamomile on my face while she extracted spots from me.  Then she also used the machines to apply lotion and cream on me.  I must say the experience was wonderful. 

Estee Lauder gives you a comfortable, elegant, proper full dressing gown in terry cloth, unlike other salons which supply a tube gown which invariably smells of the previous user!

Jessie my capable beautician getting my shade of make up to touch me up!! Most of the other beauticians will send me packing after slathering cream on my face making me look like a greasy teen walking around with over active sebaceous glands, but this one dusted powder and rouge on my cheeks, rehaped and drew my eyebrows, and now she is searching for a nice natural colour for my lips.  I will be back!

Seventh Heaven at Pavillion, Cosmetique Facial

went to Seventh Heaven again to visit Cosmetique for my facial....so luxurious of me, right?
