Streamyx? NO! WIMAX!!!

Staying in an old house comes with its perks: old antique switches and age-old cables and wiring that goes haywire with the broadband system!

Whenever there is a thunderstorm or anything remotely sounding like one, you have to rush and switch off the internet and disconnect the broadband.

Otherwise, lightning will strike your modem. We have lost count of the modems that we had to replace.

look at this...!
sometimes not all the lights will blink....Streamyx provides shoddy service and slow repairs.  Lost time too of the number of times my daughter came near to tears phoning Streamyx to fix the line as she cannot go on line!

Finally, I cut the phone line, returned the phone and disconnected Streamyx!! Paying good money every month for bad web and  trippy internet.

Papa got us a Wimax.  I remembered my student Dawa using one, when it first started.

Verdict? Good, fast prompt internet on demand, no need to disrupt surfing during rains or storms, and is portable, can bring for our holidays!!! Now I can blog whenever, whatever!!!!

According to folklore, eggs will stand in an upright position once a year during the bacang or dumpling festical.  16 June 2010 was also the Dragon Boat festival, celebrated by the Chinese on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese Lunar calendar.

Papa was having his dinner and reading the newspaper when the report of this phenomenon caught his eye, so he stopped eating and took out two eggs and made them sand.

this is the article

the eggs stood upright beautifully!

During the next winter or winter solstice or equinox, (check the almanac or google it) and try it!!! Amaze your little sister or brother!!
