Lunch at Bidor 3 June 2011

On Our way home to KL, we decided to stop at Bidor for lunch

Passing by some beautiful paddy fields

quaint and quixotic little town, like Batu Pahat 10 years ago

Fruits occupy the five foot way

we even had time to buy daughter's PJ cycling pants

and got scolded by the sales lady who got suspicious and asked why we took photos of her shop! She thinks we are collecting incriminating evidence...

so cheap!!!! 4 ringgit for short slip and 5 ringgit for slightly longer black slip

RM3.50 for short cycling pants!

total came to RM30!!!

RM8.90 for boxers!

time to drive back..past some scenic countryside

before we hit the highway...and end of small towns bypassed and forgotten by the highway.

My Mini Holiday

Just came back from a relaxing mid-week holiday at Swiss Gardent Damai Laut, Lumut.

Had wonderful sunset dinner at Gayam

Lunched at Pantai Remis

Checked out Kellie's Castle

and stopped at BIDOR on the way back!!!!

Mother and Daughter Pampering Session

I had signed up for a Mother- Daughter Pampering Session, but my daughter had a farewell with her friend who was leaving for Australia to study.  So, I got my niece to stand in for my daughter.

It was held at Pacific Regency, near the KL Tower, Jalan Puncak.

Michelle flew in all the way from the US to give a make up demo

food wasn't great though.....brought in by waiters on trays...

I think the food wasn't enough to go round as the makeover staff were quite famished!
