Klebang coconut shake and nyonya bak chang

While in Melaka and as part of our plan, we were to have coconut shake for tea together with nyonya dumplings.

The coconut shake was "KLEBANG original coconut shake" no less!!!  Read about it here:
https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=klebang%20coconut%20shake
Luckily we did not go there personally as you can see from this picture taken by Anthony how hot, crowded and uncomfortable this must be for our Indonesian, Taiwan and Philippines guests...so we had Starbucks and a  shopping sojourn at Pahlawan Mall while.....
our two heroes, Anthony and  William did the queueing in the sun for us!!

 LOOK!!!
 LOOK AT THE SNAKING LINE!!!
Just for this!!! Well, it was all packed in ice and styrofoam and brought specially to us cool and in comfort at the mall!!
You can see Midas is hot and sweaty from carrying all those styrofoams
The men distributed the shakes to us

Midas also carries up the nyonya dumplings
best I've ever tasted!

 George with the shakes
So our tea time was coconut shake and nyonya dumplings, thanks to Anthony the true blue Melaka native who introduced them to us and William for helping to line up and buy!
My verdict of the Klebang shake: smooth, refreshing, out of this world taste with real coconut smoothie cream and maybe worth the q-ing up for.  The dumpling, well as I said was very good, I could not feel that it was "all sticky rice" as with sticky rice dumplings but I could savour every bit of the mashed up rice with generous portion of  minced meat and condiments...(I do not know what!!)

Hazel and the Iconoclastic Twin Towers

SO SORRY I HAVE NOT BEEN UPDATING!!!
BEEN SO BUSY ENTERTAINING MY VISITORS FROM PHILIPPINES
AND TAIWAN!!!
NOW I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO START!!

Anyway, need to share with you the funny escapades of my friends
Was supposed to treat them lunch at Shiok, but they wasted no time in coming to KLCC.
Here we are at Suria KLCC park
Charles is setting up his camera for a vantage shot, but it was no good, you needed to get to a particular spot fot the best shot! So we went looking for it.
My whacky friends hahaha: Tess, Imee(partly hidden by Tess) Hazel and Shirley..
with Lerma, (in blue) and Alice  and me in purple(Malaysian lah)

and Charles, also toting camera taking photos

we split up, Tess, Lerma and me went shopping, this group went round searching for the best shots of KLCC which hopefully includes the twin peaks.

Can you spot Hazel, but you can definitely see Charles

It is the afternoon blazing son, but they are still walking and searching! for the best vantage view!
marching. relentlessly.....Papa is trying to keep up as he takes some candid shots of them
Hazel points to bbKLCC
Shirley in her colourful Desigual dress stands out in the middle of the road

There! Hazel got her spot,,,,the guard is whistling.....
but Hazel still poses,  (guard is whistling not because of her sexy pose but because she cannot enter there to take photo LOL hhehe)

This area is prohibited because the flowers are being "rehabilitated" (Shirley's words) and visitors are not allowed in to take photos, which is rather silly, don't you think?

Any way, ta da!!!! Hazel got the perfect pose that she wanted!!!! Nice or not?

Shirley loved this: see my fb posts here:

Then we met altogether to have lkunch at the food court
We had Malaysian delights like nasi lemak, roti jala, and kueh mueh...

Next we went to Masjid India but that is another story altogether!!!!
