Look Out Point

Now we are spending our Sundays looking for new places for dinner as a family, especially since our big daughter is still in KL.

This public holiday, 16 September 2010, the first time that it is gazetted as a bank holiday for Malaysia Day, we decided to check out Look Out Point, having seen so many pictures on Facebook and on blogs too.

And were we rewarded!
The view was fantastic!!!
I give to you an un-resized picture so you can click on the picture to enlarge!! This picture is from the new camera!!!

Click on picture to enlarge!!! Wonderful view! Even more wonderful zoom!!!

We followed this instructions to get there. (BTW, I still do not know how to get there! the clues are too cryptic and Pandan Indah is too haphazard)
One of the many restaurants there
If you feel like climbing higher, you can opt for this eatery.

We chose this, simply because the attendant gave us a parking space.

Another restaurant adjacent to Look Out Point

It is called Bread and .......(forgot) and has a lovely balcony view
squeezed through the packed tables to get this view
wanted to take pictures of KL panorama before it gets dark
"Before" pictures (for "after" pictures see above)
this is about 7 in the evening
The front deck was already packed with early birds...the tables are so close together you have no privacy!

More views with greenery (closer view)
Twin Towers shrouded in the distance
Before dusk
Another view of the Bread restaurant below

Sun is setting, took this at our place, so you can see Son
 Our drinks:Kopi 0(RM3.50),coconut(RM 6.30) Giant watermelon juice(RM9)Vanilla milkshake (RM7.50).

The vanilla milkshake reminded Son of his protein drink that he was sick of drinking so, his order was a disaster!
Sun was setting!
According to No 1 who had been here before, today was a good day to be here as it had been a scorcher the whole day and the skies were very clear
the result: a good sunset view

from where we sat
from the old camera...still good!
Our food arrived: Sizzling Combo beef Black Pepper sauce (RM38.80) for Papa (the most expensive)
Special sizzling Combo Chicken Garlic Sauce for me (RM29.90)
Sirloin Steak (RM26.80) for Son
Bratwurst Germany Sausage (RM18.80) for Daughter No1
Cheese Sausage Chicken (RM19.80) for Daughter No 2
Attacking his food china-Ah Pek style!
(Alex said he looked so Ah Beng!)
Sisterly Bonding
The most beautiful and happy family!!
the view was definitely better than the food!
the look out point! the vantage point from where I got all the shots
night view
before we left the place
menu
Three most wonderfully well mannered, well bred (ahem) and well groomed children that anyone can wish for!

Don't do drugs!
Don't mix with bad company!
Don't smoke!
Don't drink!
Abstain!
Ace those exams!
(All parents' credo to their children!)

The damage.
Son had been here many times before with his cronies, long before it became it well known through the web, before it was unrenovated and prices were less complicated as the place was less fancy.

Join us on another family gastronomical adventure this Sunday.

NOTE: THIS WONDERFUL PLACE IS GOING TO BE CLOSED!!!
