Melbourne 2016 ..Home Cooked Dinner!

 We had a home cooked dinner for relatives and what fun we had cooking!
ta da!!!! we only posed lah! Sue came and popped them all in the oven!

 Carol cooked mushroom pasta, Irene cooked egg and bacon pasta
 Millie the artistic one made the cheese platter

 and decorated the fruits plate too
while having fun too!
 we did not manage to cook and serve this as there was too much food already

These 2 sisters photobombed the real cook/chef!

See, she is the real chef! she threaded all the meat
 and marinated the salmon with herbs from the garden
 herbed fish
 she was roped in the shell the peas but she said it was child labour and amounted to child abuse

 so he took over and finished shelling the whole lot

Melnourne 2016 - Naked for Satan Lunch

As always, my sister brought us to Naked for Satan for lunch, because she says it is a "must-go" place and she especially wants Irene to taste the fare offered.  Also her friend is the manager her, and she likes to bring friends and family here.


    Tapas-style plates and infused vodka served in swanky digs with a rooftop bar and antique still.

Since my sis knows the manager and the wife of the owner (who is a Malaysian and the sister of model Bernie Chan), we got two jugs of complimentary fruity juice drink!
All the  dishes are  at AUD9 each 
Lunch Monday to Friday and Sunday from 6pm.
otherwise you will be paying the full price as shown above.

1x mushroom ceviche

4x Prawn Skewers (with bacon and red salsa)
3x Hervey Scallops



I x tartar beef (beef tartare anchovies, shallots, quail york and Taro crisps)
Mushroom Ceviche
1x Barramundi
1x scotch fillet (grilled 300 gram Angus Beef Scotch fillet)

 baked Hervey Bay scallops with green tomato relish

1x quail special (pan roasted quail, confit potato and chorizo crisps)
mushroom ceviche (peppers, blue swimmer crabs, and fennel)
Grilled octopus: potato puree, paprika
1x beef cheek (Braised in Red Wine, glazed shallots, baby carrots)
1x cheesecake
1x choc delice




 we went out to the rooftop to take photos 





 Our bill came to $157,50 and I would say it was great value considering the food was deliciously different and beautifully presented and there were so many of us!
