(This story might be old already, but I still can't get over it, so I share it here in case you are thinking what wife to marry, heh heh heh!!!)
(Reuters) - With a tiger-like swipe at a protester, Wendi Deng became an unlikely hero in defense of her octogenarian husband Rupert Murdoch.
The 42-year-old third Mrs Murdoch, who came from middle-class China to marry one of the world's most powerful media moguls, gave a dramatic stand-by-your-man display.

He didn't get very far before Murdoch's wife Wendi Deng leapt up and bitch-slapped him. AMAZING
The Telegraph's Jame Kirkup was in the room and writes:
First, she swung a slap at her husband’s attacker. She followed up by picking up the plate and trying to strike him with it. And then she moved back to her husband. Sitting on the table before him, she started to clear the foam from his face, sometimes embracing him, holding his bald head in her arms.

Wendi reacted faster than anyone else seated around Murdoch, including his son James, when the tense questioning by a British parliamentary panel was interrupted by a man throwing a shaving-cream pie at her 80-year-old husband.
She sprang from her seat behind her husband to smack the assailant, in a scene witnessed by millions around the world watching television coverage on Tuesday of the latest developments in the News of the World telephone hacking scandal.

But Deng is much more than a protective trophy wife and mother to two of Murdoch's children. She is a Yale University business school graduate and former News Corp. employee who also worked as the head of MySpace China, purchased by Murdoch in 2005.
And she's not just a supportive wife-turned-bodyguard. She's also raising their two daughters -- Grace, 9, and Chloe, 7 (they will inherit the bulk of Murdoch's fortune)-- and helps to shape his media empire's operations in Asia and, more recently, in Hollywood.

During the select committee hearing because of the hacking scandals of the News of the World, a man tried to attack Murdoch with a shaving foam pie. Immediately, Wendi became a sensation when the cameras captured her wearing that perfect pink outfit, leaping from her seat and slapping the dissenter with her right hand. Hey, she even picked up the paper plate and tried to push it back into the man’s face! Now, the same people who would call her a gold digger and family-wrecker are referring to her as Tiger Mom, and a defendant of Chinese pride! In China, Wendi Deng was already a role model for many young girls, who see in her an inspiration.
