I put my glass of champagne on this table, but I did not get to finish it bec had to drive to Sentral to fetch my daughter who is coming back tonight from her backpacking around Asia

Then I got up close and personal with Marion...she is so sporting!
Look at her! She struck a pose for me! So cute and adorable!

She said I was like.........her mother! I give you a small picture of us together, bec I had shiny forehead and I looked harrassed after taking all the pics and I had to dash off the fetch my real daughter from Sentral after her mini trip!!!

My door gifts: .......

Silver Karen Millen wallets and 15% vouchers but I was already at Sentral LCCT waiting for my daughter.

Astroboy!!!!

Has a lot of free tickets to watch Astroboy, and why not? It's good escapism, I need to feel like a kid again, it's been ages since father, mother and little daughter went to see animated movies together on Sundays.  Only this time, little daughter is now a TWEEN, and mother, and maids went instead.

I did not get the chance to watch Astroboy cartoons (black and white) when I was young, because my dad refuse to buy a TV until after my youngest sister was born and that was in 1969!!!

I had 6 tickets, so I changed 4 four for the 4 of us, then I was given 2 more, so I gave the 4 to Mrs Choy who let us use her house for line dancing.  She has at least 3 grandchildren.

Funny conditions: "yet to be rated!"  The rating in PG13, but kids as young as 2 went!

My Tween and my lovely ladies outside the cineplex.

so camera shy...actually they were looking at the other cute children

The show?  GREAT!!!  Exciting!!! FUNNY! and touching, we all shed a tear or two when Astroboy sacrificed himself!!!  See it!

Great escapism!

Canggih School (IT Savvy School)

One day at school, Pn Munni, the IT teacher handed me a box, and went on to give Mrs Lim another one......hmmmm....I opened it, to find...
(It was a very tiny box!)
.....spanking new speakers for my desk-top PC

I promptly plugged it in and tested them, (Miss Kee helped me of course)...

So there...my desk-top pc is well kitted out (btw, I took home the speakers for safe keeping, my desk is so near the door, it risks being stolen easily)

Next...look at what my Upper 6 Peachers are doing...
They are accessing the net from my lappie

now, my school is very well equipped, every, well, nearly every class has a retractable screen

and an overhead projector

this is new....a table top mains (I don't know what else to call it)

just plug in whatever you need to project your image onto the screen to teach

this is also new....a set of speakers sitting atop a shelf

very high up to discourgae itchy fingers

notice something?

the juxtaposition of the old and new......(new speakers but ancient power cables or whatever you call these)
So old!!!! Must be about 100 years old!!!Psst, btw, my antique house also has one of these too!!!
I hope they just leave them alone, instead of yanking them off, they are as much a part of the school as its history.
