rotary interest meeting of new Cheras Club at the Laureate

Went to The Laureate Signature in Petaling Jaya for "interest Meeting" of new club Cheras 

It is a posh wellness place ., good for beauty treatments.

Tonight it is venue for our meeting so there's a nice catered dinner spread

Meeting is about to start, and this is my friend's husband, if I am not here with him I will be at dancing class with his wife , my friend, Chong!

Paramesh came later, lost  his way after battling Friday afterwork jam.

Went back to the posh waiting area again to look for Hazel.

Wanted  to collect my wellness voucher from Hazel.. Will come back here for my free body treatment!!! Can't wait!

Busy Mums Network Lunch at Caffeines

My youngest daughter's friends' moms and I are in a group called "Busy Moms Network",  well they are busy, not me, I'm retired and ok, I'm busy : busy enjoying myself with my countless activities! 

This is Caffeines in an old bungalow in jalan Kampung Pandan, one of the few remaining ones here. Most have been bulldozed for new highways or new restaurants.

They all stay in Cheras and arrive earlier than me, I'm from bukit Jalil. 

We had the lunch set: mushroom soup.

White wine pasta and coffee RM25 per set 

In our group: me Ellina, Linda, Felicia, and Nora

Our kids are all in the same school and are already 18 now in college but we still keep in touch! 

We used to meet at our kids' birthdays and occasionally when we send them to school. Now our children drive themselves to college as they all have their own car and license! 

Lingering after lunch over coffee and cakes ... great to network even if we are not so busy moms anymore! 

Ichem Visit : first corporate Tour

As the vocational director for this term my first corporate visit I organised was Ichem, given to me by James Lai

It is situated right in Puchong Industrial area so all of us went there on our own. We met there.

I was the first to reach as I am the organiser. Not since school/teaching days have I done visits like this. 

Pleasantly surprised to find a welcome banner for us. 

So I went upstairs as directed.

Yee met me,.. As you can see Ichem is a water treatment plant.

So I walked around and saw this cupboard full of Ichem's awards.

All our participants have arrived.

We all made ourselves comfortable

Ichem even needs to be halal too.
