To get to Pulau Sembilan we had to go to Sekinchan and Bagan Datoh first...

and I bought this...Sekinchan Best Rice, RM29.90

 and yummy keropok (prawn flavour, 4 packets for RM8)

Sekinchan has beautiful breathtaking scenery

 and a local temple with a wish tree: buy a red string with a coin attached, make a wish and sling it on the tree...wah so many wishes...did any of it come true?

sshhhh....I am wishing.....

Sekinchan has a mini beach which is well visited, and I saw this cool boy making bubbles with this string....

gigantic bubbles that floated and flitted and flew in the fine,  unfettered , feisty sky...

(saja nak ber alliterasi)..(simply want to make alliteration)

 then we had lunch here

yummy delicious lunch! such a heavy lunch!!!

 then we reached the jetty town

and had to walk the gangplank to take our ferry/boat ride..but first...

we had to queue for the toilet to tide over the 45 minutes boat ride!! One petrol station with one toilet cubicle for a bus load of 50.....we waited in the bus, then another bus came and we dashed to join the queue before the new busload came down from the bus...phew!!!! hahahaha!!!!

DAYTRIP : Pulau Sembilan 九屿岛一日游

I had a day trip on Sunday

Sekinchan, Pulau Sembilan Bagan Datoh

九屿岛一日游

 dipping our toes in the sand of the mysterious Nine Island

 to reach the island you have to take a boat ride

the one with white roof was full, so I ended up in the blue one....it is SO DANGEROUS!!! I have never felt so vulnerable in the open wide sea.

 I survived the boat ride after all, and lounged in the sand (on the sand on top of plastic chairs lah)

 so nice to pose here and there...lovely rocks and clear water

 dinner was yam lei sek seafood teamboat dinner

 so much food,...you can keep taking as much as you like...which is what "yam lei sek" means

 no chalets here, only tents like these for hire

The purpose of coming to Nine Island for us was to see the blue luminous plantkton. The Chinese call it blue tears or 藍眼泪 

can you see the blue dot? it is only one of the many blue plankton

On the way back the boat ride was in pitch darkness, rain fell, sea water splashed on us, boat skimmed on some parts of rough seas, I thought of my husband, my family, my friends hahaha!!!!
It was the longest 45 minutes for me.

Angels and Devils Party

19 th April on Sunday we had a lovely party themed "Angels and Devils"

look at these angels with halos on their heads! Teacher made and gave us the halos, free.

This is our teacher, it is her 4th aniversary and she is the ultimate angel with wings and tutu!

I couldn't decide so I had white and red....hehe

Anyway, we had great fun!!!
