Dr Nano facelift facial

The fb offer of facelift facial attracted me as I had saggy cheeks and old woman’s eagle claws neck ( I’m old lah)

It promises a 5V facelift treatment package with free collagen face and eye mask. But you have to foot out 58 ringgit ! All my other facials (New York, Shakura) and hair treatment (H2G and Yun Nam) were absolutely free.

I chose the Mid Valley Boulevard outlet.

It’s on the first floor ..no 19-1

Some of the contraptions available

Getting ready..

Facelift machine

This machine will give  you a V shape chin but I’m sure you need to do it consistently.

This mask needed 45 minutes but I couldn’t wait so long, so I snuck a photo by peeling off one eye pad , played Pokémon Go and also did leg exercises and pelvic lifts(!)... 45 minutes !

Collagen mask... 20 minutes only

My free gifts (as in the advertisement ..a mask and eye pads.
My face felt refreshed, I’m not sure about the facelift and they did not give me a long Pre facial talk and best of all they did not pressure me to sign up any package.

Wantan Mee man after 20 years

My son has grown, left Taman Midah, gotten married but this wantan Mee man is still there in Taman Midah and he remembers me

He doesn’t seem to age!!! When he saw me he said “ you??” Hahahaha ! He remembers me buying wantan Mee from him in the morning for my son before I send him off  to the afternoon session school.

This is his  wantan Mee stall at Loong Yee in Taman Midah. It is not often that I can catch him because oft times a foreign worker is manning it. Don’t you just wish the original “chef” is making your favourite Street food instead of a foreigner?

The wantan Mee made by him but served by the Indonesian helper.

Springy Mee with yummy kon Loh sauce and wantan in soup that had ikan  bilis stock taste. Even Alex’s mother (my son’s best friend) said this wantan Mee is good.

My husband had Mee curry but I just have to have the cockles and pig skin first with taugeh and curry soup!!!

This is Loong Yee...our friendly neighborhood kopitiam that fulfills our craving for hawker food. Thank goodness it is still there, what with everything being demolished and bulldozed off nowadays (especially in Chinatown) purportedly for the construction of the MRT.

Yun Nam hair pampering

I’ve been to yun Nam before,  about10 years ago so when I saw the Yun Nam free hair trial offer I signed up at once!

Yun Nam is situated at Mid Valley Boulevard offices

This is my hair: unkempt and ungroomed ..I feel unglamorous!

So many products for hair...and  I forget to take pictures of computer analysis of my hair ...my hair seemed to be in a very bad and neglected state!!!

She is starting treatment on my hair, today I will get a herbal hair bath

Going to give  me a soothing shampoo and hair massage

Now she’s applying ginseng herbs powder

It’s in the mortar and she uses 2 spoons to apply it on my scalp

Done... now letting the potent mix to work its wonders  on my hair and I forgot to take “after” photos, but one thing for sure my hair smelt of ginseng.

My mini sized products to take home .

You ought to go try too... it’s free!

H2G haircare experience

Had a nice haircare pampering at H2G hair expert at The Curve

I haven’t been to Curve for a long time ! Used to catch a lot of free movies at e the curve with hubby!
Found H2G at last in the 2nd floor

This is my receding hairline , it’s not alarming, considering my age.

My hair follicles magnified 100 tines ..bottom is healthy hair with many hairs(!) in one follicle, mine has only 1 hair in one, and others struggling to grow ...! I have oily scalp and dandruff to boot!

My hot lo Han quo drink..no sugar added

After shampooing I had air tonic infusement

Love the green theme but it’s so deserted

My attendant Joyce using giant comb with infra red vibrations

Spraying serum on my scalp ..in to follow up at home

Feels clean and refreshed

From,

Ichifudo F&B Sdn. Bhd.

And so I went , to support my friend Sia KB who posted the above Food Lovers message in our chat group.

Me and Sia with our croissants!! I had 3: Hokkaido custard, tuna and sweet corn, cheese and ham, all for rm6.50 each!!

I arrived at 12.50 so lion dance was already in full swing!

Outlet kiosk is quite strategically situated ..I foresee it’ll catch the flow of the heavy traffic of shoppers.

Don’t expect the normal Croissant boat shape but it’s rectangularly flat with an embossed fish motif. All the goodies and fillings are enclosed inside as all sides are sealed . Skin is crispy, sweet, with the texture of the flaky pastry of croissant. The sugar that is burnt on the skin makes it crispy and crunchy and great to munch on

A peek in the show cabinet will give you an idea what to order.

My 3 choices : tuna not so good as savory does not go too well with caramelised sugar pastry, cheese and ham did wonders for me: mixture of salty hammy cheesy flavors ..and the Hokkaido custard: very good! Creamy custard and crispy puff makes you look for a nice cuppa to complete the combo. At around rm6.50 upwards , Tai Croissant makes for an inexpensive Mall Street snack.
