Historic Relics and Cu Chi Tunnel Complex

On the second day, we were taken to the historic relics and cu chi tunnel complex.

where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops (from the brochure)

this is the site of B52 Bomber crater

Massive and huge:

 I took a try at crawling through a tunnel

 pitch dark and narrow inside

 if you are tall and big, you have to crawl

 I am short and puny so I just had to bend my back and walk

 many false twists and turns, the guide had to call to us to guide us to the real entrance

 this is what you call the light at the end of the tunnel, at last we managed to come out!
