Gory End for Snatch Thief

This story in the STAR today is for my eldest daughter whose handbag got snatched from her car after they crashed her window screen at Bandar Tun Razak traffic lights, while she waited for lights to change 2 years ago, on her way to work, two months after MY own car windscreen (Unser) got smashed and my bags got stolen from my car.

KUALA LUMPUR: It was a gory end for a snatch thief who died with his private parts severed in a collision at Ampang Jaya here between his getaway motorcycle and the victim’s car.

The police and passers-by found the body of the 35-year-old suspect in a drain, with his penis almost crushed and detached from his body. His pants had been ripped from his body in the accident.

His accomplice, who was riding pillion, suffered body injuries
The incident happened soon after the 28-year-old victim was locking the gate to leave her home in Taman Mega Jaya in Ampang at around 8.30am yesterday. She had left the bag in her Toyota Vios, while the car engine was on.

A man suddenly appeared, opened the car door and snatched the bag. The woman tried to fight back but was kicked in the abdomen.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Amirruddin Jamaluddin said the woman then got into her car and gave chase before blocking them.

The two men were caught off-guard and rammed right into the victim’s car resulting in both of them being flung from the machine. The accident occurred about 200m from the woman’s house.

The snatch theft victim was not hurt in the incident.

ACP Amiruddin also said both men had valid driving licences but the motorcycle they were using was reported stolen.

Police are investigating if the suspects were involved in other criminal activities in the district.

Inexperienced snatch thieves...

The ones who robbed me either had dumb luck or had a really well planned routine. I think its the latter. They carefully picked the second car at the traffic light, my car so they have some time to flee while i was stuck. They planned their getaway turn, a lane with lots of lorries so only the bike could go through and i was stuck when i gave chase after the traffic light turned green

I think, better you could not chase them lah. This woman now is living in fear, scared his accomplices and family seek her out and take revenge on her. She has taken leave from work and gone into hiding. Also, what for, now she can list among the things she has done: KILLED A MAN!

But both thieves are Indonesian. They got family here? But pity them died in such manner..

They may have no families but they got partners-in-crime and accomplices. Being Indonesians does not mean they can rob and pillage here, anyway why u pity them? How many victims have died or done into coma after being kicked and dragged by the snatch thieves on motorbike? What about the money I and my daughter have to pay to repair car windows and buy back exactly the same handphones..not to mention replace all the cards lost.
