Ingredients
150 g Anchor Tinned Butter (melted)
80g Icing Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
180 g Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
Whole pecans for garnishing
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180*C
2. Mix melted Anchor Tinned Butter, icing sugar and vanilla essence
3. In another bowl, sift together plain flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
4. Stir in butter mixture and lightly mix till dough is formed.
5. Shape cookie dough into small balls and lay them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Lightly press to flatten the ball.
6. Place a piece of pecan on top of each cookie dough and lightly press so that it doesn't fall out when baking.
7. Bake for 15 mins at 180*C or till done.
