In view of the current slew of crimes against women in broad daylight in the car parks of shopping complexes in KL city, Mid Valley has issued the following Safe Measures fore us....




Security Measures in Mid Valley City
In light of the recent spate of incidents within Klang Valley, we would like to emphasize the security measures and services available for customers in case of emergencies:
1) Panic Buttons
 Selected pillars in the car park are marked with ‘HELP’ sign (Kindly refer to Appendix I for visual reference) and immediate assistance can be rendered when the panic button is pressed.
2) Security Hotline
 Our Security Control Room operates 24 hours and can be reached via telephone no:-

3) 24-hour Security Escort Service
 For convenience and security reasons, security escort service is extended to customers for collection of their vehicles. This service is available at Security Counter in Car Park Lobbies located at Zone A, P1 and Zone B, P2 or via the Information Counters and the security hotline.
We have an excess of 200 CCTVs in the car park and related areas, and an excess of 2,000 CCTVs in total within Mid Valley City. In view of the trending of incidents, additional CCTVs are being installed to further enhance surveillance coverage. We have also stepped up the security in the car park by deploying additional personnel at strategic points and increased frequency of patrolling.
Pertaining to the incident recent at IGB Annexe Lobby, Level 4, the suspect identified through CCTV footages is currently under police custody for further investigation. The Management is extending its full cooperation to the authorities with regards to the incident.
