1. As usual, when Uncle S is in town, we go for a family dinner...this time at LOG SAWADEE, a thai restaurant in Cheras:

It is situated off the beaten road, in a spacious kampung setting,

in fact you would not be able to find it as it is not visible from the road.

 lots of Thai embellishment and of course, elephant statues

 we were early, so we had elephants for company

 and poses a- plenty
