This restaurant has two claims to fame: first, it's owned by Taiwan pop star Jay Chou (周杰倫). Second, it has a batmobile in the middle of the restaurant. We don't know why.
(I got the above from its website)

This is "Soap" because his business is soap!
After the signing ceremony, we went to Deja Vu to celebrate.  Here Soap is bringing us to Deja Vu.  Earlier he drove us and parked at a nearby hotel.  Now we walk to Huasan 1914 Creative Park where it is situated
We walked along paved roads, cool and pleasant!

 and reached the "creative park:
it is full of young people trending and being seen
looks like some old business area refurbished into trendy pubs, eateries and cafes

Lucy and the rest are already waiting for us at the entrance to Deja Vu

  1. Deja Vu互動式音樂魔術主題餐廳

we are told they love to have photoshoots here, and today there is a bride and her groom having a photo session here

the tea has not started so I went around taking photos
more old buildings preserved and being given a new lease of life for creative purposes
families with young children come here too
lots of young people hanging out at the cafes here

looks cool and happening and trendy (my third use of this word today)

looks like something out of a country western movie
Inside, it is old, retro looking and starkly furnished

Taiwan is full of fun cool themed restaurants. If you are a Jay Chou Fan, Deja Vu is one themed restaurant you must visit when you are at Taipei, Taiwan! A joint venture by Jay Chou (周杰伦), and a magician, Liu Qian (刘谦), this 'Magic' themed restaurant showcases the personal collections of these 2 well-known Taiwan celebrities. The restaurant is located in Huashan 1914, Taipei’s primary creative arts center and a hosting ground for Taiwan’s most significant cultural activities. The restaurant had a rather mysterious gothic facade.(from AspirantSg)

a motorbike takes pride of place at the entrance...while I was taking the photo, someone said, wait till you see the Bat-mobile!
me and Alice take "selfie" or rather Mirror-ie in front of this huge frame
 nice?

Here's the Batmobile, Jay Chou bought it, just because he can
I could not photograph it is in its entirety and so here's the front of the mobile

 toilet is cool!!!!

Tea has started, it was boisterous as usual, and we really celebrated the sisterhood signing

Soap's ingots of golden soap, he is presenting them to us
our tea is served, everyone gets a wooden board with five types of delectables.

 all yummy!!!!

I sat with the ladies from Yie Shian, and they had names like Amrita, Cherry, Yuki....and their members are actresses, singers, no less!!!
 the other tables

everyone mingled, sipping coffee which was unlimited

Soap is ready to give out his golden ingots of soap

Gift (they have names based on their occupation and Gift supplies well, gifts to gift shops) and his wife says "good! thanks for the tea" because we are hosting this tea
wonderful tea, and we got to go back at 4 or 5 and had a good rest at the hotel and tonight there will be no events, so we could pop over opposite the hotel for street food!!

before I left....I had to take a photo with BATMOBILE!!!!
