Cheong Kim Chuan ..Penang Famous Tau Sar Pneah Shop, Hoe Peng: Mi Ku shop

On our way home to KL, we MUST buy tau sar pneah
to take home, for ourselves or as gifts!

Penang's famous, also nutmeg, mi ku, prawn paste etc...

 neat arrangement and display of products available
 housed in an old heritage building
 such a cool exterior
 mini antique stools!!!
 before I went in, I saw all these outside the shop....used to be a residence...
 then you enter the shop which was once someone's house
 I bought two packets...so cheap!! RM3.80 each!!
 chili sauce, prawn paste for rojak...all homemade recipe...

 street where the shop is located....lots of street stalls, reminds me of Jalan sultanah in Batu Pahat, 40 years ago

You can also buy Mi Ku from Hoe Peng, Jenny's son requested it, but it was sold out that day, so I did not have a chance to find out what mi ku (tortoise bread) is!!!
